About Us
The Lyon County Amateur Radio Emergency Services (LCARES)
was established in 2001 and has been active and growing since.
Currently we have 13 active members.
Licensee classes range from Technician to Amateur Extra.
We have assisted the Lyon County Emergency Manager,
the Lyon County Sheriff's Search and Rescue,
and the Red Cross during several emergency situations.
